Beatty Park Leisure Centre, Perth

Took my mother-in-law and 11 month baby for swim in the kiddy area, excellent shallow paddle area, baby play fountains and water spouts and mini grotto for kids. Two big water slides and lovely heated water. From what I could see it was very popular as there were plenty of kids, and lots of parents watching over them. Lifeguards were everywhere too. There were swimming classes on as there was a swim school. Cafe there was very busy and it took a while to get through the queue to get our hot chips. Changerooms were ok, but there wasnt a very good set of facilities for changing babies, as your choices were two disabled toilets with a fold out change table, and both of those were wet from the showers in them, or one little bench in the main ladies changeroom. Also I noted a creche on the other side of the complex from the entrance, which looked very good, and pretty busy. Staff were very friendly and the kids looked happy. Had a great day out and would highly reccommend going there as it was fantastic value for money. In fact I might even get a membership there so I can use their gym facilities as well!
