The sprawling white beaches in Perth are sensational - this one tends to be particularly popular. Regular swimmers, picnicking families and sun-bakers frequent Cottlesloe. It also offers a wonderful choice of locations to watch the sunset. Enjoy spectacular views across the Indian Ocean from one of the many cafes and restaurants along Marine Parade or from a tranquil spot on the sand. At the southern end of the beach, a reasonably sheltered reef proves a great spot for snorkeling. The main beach area has showers and toilets.

I had the most fantastic experience in Cottesloe. I have never felt so healthy! The beach is amazing, the restauarants welcoming and a great atmosphere of very approachable people- good banter! had so much fun, even a frolic with an aussie surfer on the beach one night.......

My unforgettable summer X'mas!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/28/05
The wide sky, that made me surprised. Very clean even in the mid town. Near to the nature, historical place - Fremantle, beautiful beaches and it's west end of the train "Indian-Pacific". I like all of them!
