Take a virtual ride on the glider or make your hair stand on end by touching the Vandergraaf machine. The mind boggling choice of displays and activities includes 160 interactive exhibits. Interactive science at its best, Scitech opened in 1988. Now one of the Perth's most popular attractions, it boasts a place in the Western Australian Tourism Hall of Fame. Check out Horizon, the state-of-the-art planetarium, which host lectures and space shows throughout the year. Events, such as Top Secret: License to Spy and Science Roadshow attract kids and adults alike. The Discovery Shop is worth a visit plus a cafe offers tasty snacks and light meals.
