Rounding out the list of sushi joints in Charleston is Tsunami. Appetizers, hibachi and katsu entrees, udon noodles, and tempura are a few things you can expect to find on the menu, as well as long list of nigiri and rolls. The trendy atmosphere, quality food and emphasis on drinks all have a hand in Tsunami's success. Come for the food, and stay for the live music. At night, the restaurant becomes a club that is open late.
The romantic atmosphere paired with our excellent server set the tone for the evening.
We were pleasantly suprised at the menu choices and prices. The service was excellent. If you are in the mood for sushi or Japanese Steakhouse cuisine, this is a great place to find something local with an upscale falir.
Tsunami is open for lunch on the weekends, with great specials for insanely cheap. The night scene is even better, with drink specials every night and a club atmosphere after 10pm. This is definitely the best late night bar scene in Charleston!
