Opened in 1980 with a mere 50 stores, Midland Gate Shopping Centre now has more than 100 specialty shops. Based in the northeastern corridor, linking the northern and eastern rural areas, it strives to create a pleasant shopping experience for its customers. The center has big open malls and a friendly atmosphere. It was the first in Australia to be accredited with the Foodsafe Certificate from the Australian Institute of Environmental Health and Healthway, so you can be sure all food has been stored and prepared to the highest standards.
