Mead's Mosman Bay, Perth

Mead's really is in a beautiful part of Perth, it is undeniably romantic and the view almost incomprable particulalry if you are lucky enough to be seated at a table overlooking the bay. The food is good, beautifully presented and the menu varied. What a shame therefore that such a lovely restaurant experience was completedly ruined by unforgivable customer service. First they got our booking wrong, but that can soon be forgiven, but what followed was a catalogue of customer service disasters, no one took our order for both wine and food until we asked, we had to keep getting up to pour our own wine, and the same happened after both starters and main course! The waiting on staff appeared to have agreed to work under pain of death and could not do less for you if they tried and all this was done with the kind of dead pan expression normally expected from a petulant teenager. Others in the restaurant I noted were the unfortunate recipients of similar levels of dire customer service. It was in all a realy disappointment. Lovely restaurant, good food but surely this should go hand in hand with good customer service? Come on Mead's - get it right!
