Description

This roadside outdoor eatery is a late night favourite. It has been around since 1946 and has remained an institution in historic Guildford. There are no tables and the seats are large tree stumps. You can join the regulars sitting around the open log fire, which burns late into the night. ld-fashioned homemade food is the speciality. The steak burgers (AUD3.20) and the "Cram" (AUD7.50) are complete meals in themselves. Lentil burgers (AUD3.80) keep vegetarians happy and the pea soup (AUD2.50 large and AUD1.40 small) is legendary.

I have been away for over 10 years, and this place just gets better, the food is great, the service is great, and it has the best selection of food to eat. The Alf's Special is my personal favorite, and still tastes the same as 10 years ago! Excellent late night eatery.

the best burgers

this place is awesome eh the atmosphere is just brilliant us boarders at guildford grammar even sneek out at midnight just to get alfies. nothing like a midnight snack. The variety of people there is huge- families tourists and schoolboys alfies gives everyone a great time

that atmosphere is great, everone sitting out round the fire, just chilling and eating a great meal. the prices are great and the service is just what you want from a place like alfreds, friendly and down to the point. try the bacon and cheese burger, best thing ever

Alfrds kitchen is great

I went there on sunday and had a burger with the lot and a large Pea and Ham soup. it was the best fast food i have had in ages i was so full and it tasted so good. what a classic roadside eatery.
