Originally built in 1889, this rennovated riverfront home attracts a dynamic crowd. The fully licensed brasserie offers an eclectic evening menu. Dishes include the Jurien Bay Dhufish with roasted roma tomatoes, freshly cooked chips and lime (AUD27.50) or braised lamb shanks-with creamy potato mash and roasted root vegetables (AUD17.50). In the downstairs cafe, brunch or a lunchtime roll will cost under AUD10, while the blackboard menu (from 11am) offers a selection for less than AUD14.
