This gallery opened in March 2001 with the intent to promote various areas of contemporary artistic creation. Most of the gallery is filled with works of well known Portuguese artists, along with some contemporary art and works of other innovative artists. The gallery is working on establishing a new agreement between private and institutional collectors in an attempt to broaden audiences' horizons and make more art available to the public. Filipa Cesar, Graça Pereira Coutinho, Joana Rosa, João Louro, João Onofre, João Paulo Feliciano, João Tabarra, Jose Loureiro, Julião Sarmento are some of the artists represented in this gallery.
