Dick Whittington Tavern (The), Melbourne

The pub looks strangely out of place with its stark white structure and its name in big bold letters. Once inside, it has a homely feel, candles flickering on tables and paintings (which are for sale) decorating the walls. You get good pub food here and their claim for the best parmigiana is not far off the mark. Chips and salads are always served in little bowls beside your main so they stay crisp. Service here is friendly and efficient. With a jukebox, television, crayons, and drawing paper on each table, you'll have lots to do while you eat. Check the timings before you head there.
