Can't decide whether to go for a scenic walk, sit and enjoy a beverage in the shade, peruse the shopping district, or pack in some sightseeing? You can accomplish it all on Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon's main avenue that stretches for a mile along beautiful architecture and some of the city's finest haute couture shops such as Armani and Gucci. As much as there is to see on the Avenida da Liberdade, don't forget to look down occasionally to admire the decorative pavement that lines the street.
