Description
The Centre Culturel Oecumenique works for inter cultural dialog through the creation of a space defending the free expression of multiple social, cultural, and political beliefs. The organization was originally created by the Catholic Church in the 1960s, but has been independently managed since the 1970s. Today, the CCO welcomes organizations focused on labor organization, humanitarian concerns, international solidarity, and immigration issues. It promotes awareness, democracy, and human rights, and fights against discrimination. It also provides resources for these groups and the public to network or to connect communities, promotes young artists, and supports the exploration of music, dance, theater, and fine arts through numerous cultural events and workshops.
