Highpoint Shopping Centre

Description

This huge shopping complex draws the celebrities, as well as the residents of the northern suburbs. Highpoint has seen the likes of the Spice Girls and local teen favourites, CBD play on centre stage. With over 500 stores, some people even consider this centre too big. There is plenty of parking though, plus a Hoyts Cinemotion Theatre, three supermarkets, Myer (department store), Billy Guyatts (major electrical retailer) and Target (department store). Whatever you do, try not to get lost!

there are better things to do in melbourne
By ,
just get lost in the CBD laneways. Melbourne is not a city about shopping centers. also the high streets in each suburb are packed with great shopping, good cheap food and all walks of life

Chadstone without the pretention
By ,
Highpoint is just such a great place to shop, especially for clothes and the sales people are friendly - they helped me pick out an outfit and then told me which shop to see for matching shoes. It was great! I love Highpoint - it has the shops, it has a great atmosphere, but most of all, the people were so helpful.

A Place not to go with GF
By ,
Ya, it is place where i would not go with gf, too many bargains, too much discounts. Yesterday i was looking up a black tie for my job uniform , i went BigW, Target and other super stors but everywhere Tie was 20A$ and look not nice, i was disappointed too much when i just entered in one shopping stor sort of normal before leaving & believe me i got very nice tie in 10 $ and it was much better than i saw other stors it was not very important to buy that but i like black color. Wel rest , what i tell you, I end up spending 500$ on my GF shopping. Ha! I wish i did not need to go there but it was my idea......... really, it does not mean i do not want buy for GF but it was all about bargains which force me to buy..... really good things and very cheap. I hope u will find out when you visit there, won't you CHeers:)

Highpoint, the place to shop!
By ,
Hallo Melb, It's the 1st time I've lived in Melbourne. I've been here for 1 month only and I'm living in Maidstone, North West of CBD. As I've been here, I had a chance to go shopping w/ my friends in Highpoint, one of well-known shopping centers in Maribyrnong City. First of all, Highpoint was a huge shopping center where we could see a lot of famous fashion brands in the world such as Gior, AX, Myer, Levi's, David Jones, David Beckham, Britney Spears, Hugo... They sold everything there, from pets, books, household accessories, to Indian or Chinese products... In addition, there were a cinema, restaurants, and dvd stores in the 1st floor. Finally, I felt very comfortable when I visited here. In my opinion, Highpoint is a good place to visit when you are living in Maribyrnong. Yours faithfully, Quoc Thai

GOOD PLACE TO SHOP!
By ,
Highpoint,Marybirnong is a big place to shop. We can eat and window shopping in a huge place. When other is closed, sometime Highpoint still open. And it helps me to find a place to go.

Love the variety
By ,
I like Highpoint for the diversity of the centre. So many shops that cater for all tastes. It's fairly well set out and the store directories are easy to folow. The food court and other eateries offer diversity as well and most times the food is fresh and tasty. The only thing I don't like is the crowds which only goes to highlight the centre's popularity.
