Emerald Lake Park, Clematis

Emerald lake park is a wonderful day out for a family of any size, the kids have a ball running along tree shaded paths(even great on hot days) and having a dip in the pool which is only waist height on an adult and looked after by life savers.Bring a picnic or have lunch at the kiosk which has great food but no efpos machine so cash up before entering the park. There are those cool floating water bikes to hire for a trip around the lake. We have been up there many many times and its a great place to take the littles ones for a ride on their push bikes as their feet can get a little tired.There are built in bbq's under shade. People seem to be really friendly there as its a relaxing day where kids play with other kids in the pool while parents sit back relax and watch. Im planning on taking my 4 kids up at least once a mth as its an inexpencive day out (parking is $7(have chance for meter) but thats nothing for a day with 4 kids) and no admission fee to the pool or park :)
