Lions' Gate Kona Coffee & Macadamia Nut Farm
Description
The oldest coffee farm in Kona, Lions' Gate Coffee Farm has inherited coffee trees that are up to 100 years old. Like fine wine, coffee too grows better with age, and thus Lions' Gate has a trump card in its hand. The coffee has been given the recognition of being 100% original by the Kona Coffee Farmers Association. The farm has devoted 5 acres to the wonderful Macadamia nut. The taste of "macs" is so much like what Hawaii stands, rich and heavenly. The coffee farm sells gift boxes of nuts and coffee wrapped in a traditional woven lauhala box with aloha-print fabric decoration, a souvenir of the Big Island. And of course, Lions' Gate offers complimentary tours. Call for an appointment.
