Description
Windsurfing reigns supreme at the famous Fisherman's Huts Beach. Those who are in the know, are aware that the shallow water and steady winds are near perfect conditions for the sport. There's also a new kid on the block- kite surfing. This involves riding a surfboard-like contraption while holding an inflatable kite. Fisherman's Huts is the site of the annual wind boarding and kite boarding competition— Hi Winds Pro-Am Windsurfing Competition. The event takes place during the summer months.
