At this lively Brazilian restaurant, skewers of freshly grilled beef, pork, chicken, lamb, and linguica sausage are carried around on trays, ready to be cut when you signal the waiter that you would like some. A large buffet, filled with potatoes, salads and other side dishes, rounds out the meal. Fish stew, soups and appetizers are also available at Midwest Grill. A wonderfully attentive staff makes this a great choice for a fun dinner. Live Brazilian music starts around 7pm nightly. The restaurant serves beer and wine.
We went at the last minute. The place was empty on a Thurs night (I can see why.) The waitress told us dessert was included when I asked, but later said it was not, pointing instead to where it USED to be located. The owner offered nothing to rectify the situation. The meats (all except the sausage) were dried out, the bacon would have cracked your teeth, and the chicken hearts were like a rubber chew toy for mice. Oh, there were plenty of flies going around the place, so if you wanted something moist, all you needed to do was wait until they landed... Don't waste your time or money, unless you like dried out food from a surly waitress.
