Not just a restaurant, an experience.

I went there with a group of 8, and everyone agreed it was a truly memorable occasion. The interior of the restaurant has a genuine German feel, without looking tacky; the food was great - hearty meals in which high quality meat is the focus; the beer was even better - I was drinking the big 1 litre DAB jugs, it's a top notch beer and the big, thick glasses keep it cold for ages.
But the best part about the night was the atmosphere! There was a traditional german band singing merrry songs and encoraging everyone to join in. Three young german slap-dancers performed in intervals, and for someone who had never seen this type of dancing before, I was blown away - they went off!!
But the best part was at the end when everyone in the whole restaurant was coaxed up on stage and we all did a tradition circle dance, followed by a long samba-like train that went around the restaurant, out onto the street (much to the surprise of passers-by) and back into the restaurant! To sum it up, expect a lot of great food, a lot of great singing & dancing, a lot of great beer, and most of all..a lot of fun.
