Punta Chiqueros is a small protected crescent-shaped cove at the beginning of a long stretch of beach known as Playa Punta Chiqueos . The pounding surf and dangerous undertow typically found on the leeward side of Cozumel is missing here since the cove is protected by the Chiqueros reef, another popular dive site.
