Description

Just 30 miles north of San Diego, you can spend an entire day at Legoland California living in the land of imagination experiencing more than 40 fun-filled rides, adventures and shows. 'Activity' is the word for the day with 128 acres of displays including MiniLand where replicas of famous sites (Hollywood Bowl, Washington, D.C.) are created from Legos. In the Imagination Zone, children under six can play with Duplos to their hearts' content. Kids over six can check out the 'Build & Test' center. Themed areas include Castle Hill and Pirate Shores.

Fun for younger kids

The information said for ages up to 12. My grandson is 10 and MANY of the attractions did not interest him. His favorite was skipper school where he could drive a boat. I would recommend for no one older than 9.

Legoland

Legoland is ok, I dont know why anyone would buy a season pass though. You can cover it all in one day and the rides are mediocre and not great enough to go back to time and time again. What makes no sense is that you have to pay an admission to Legoland park plus the water park if you only want to get into the water park. They really should have planned it better and made the water park a separate entrance. And no, the aquarium is not free as someone stated below, you have to pay for that as well unless you get the hopper pass. Very overpriced in my opinion. The lego land setup in the middle is cool though.

extremely fun. great food, cool rides, awesome water park. also, they recently added an aquarium, & it's free.

Every kid loves LegoLand

great place for kids ages 4 to 10, both boys and girls enjoyed it. We took 2 days to enjoy the "lands" and rides.
