Pepperdine University, Malibu

This is a great private university and, yes, the campus is GORGEOUS! It has a rigorous curriculum, low student teacher ratio, and an outstanding reputation. Although I am sure there is a similar amount of "partying" at Pepperdine as there is at most universities, I agree with the travel.yahoo explanation for any criticism leveled against the school as jealousy based. To the critics I say, work hard in high school, apply and get accepted. Only then are you qualified to criticize! When you visit, make sure to visit the cafeteria and decide if you would like to have such a view in your dining room!
