Wildey House
Description
Currently serviced as the headquarters of the Barbados National Trust, the Wildey House is one of the oldest and most grandiose structures on the island. Constructed on a five-acre estate in the Georgian tradition, the house has undergone recent refurbishment in the last five years. Visitors are welcome to stop by for a tour through the public rooms adorned with magnificent mahogany furniture, portraits, crystal and other memorabilia. A visit to the home recalls the memory of aristocratic plantation living. Today, the house still facilitates weddings, banquets and other large functions with Old World style. Contact the Barbados National Trust for booking information.
