Description

A landmark of Canberra, Black Mountain Tower is the compass of the city; always letting you know where you are. This modern pinnacle of technology rises from the center of Canberra Nature Park and offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside. Rising 195 meters above the summit of Black Mountain, the tower was opened in 1980 and provides vital communication facilities for Canberra. The tower provides both inside and outside viewing galleries, a telecommunications museum, cafe, revolving restaurant and gift shop.

i loved telstra tower it was amazing esp at night i strongly reccomend it!!!!the gift shop is a bit pricy but the cost to get in is great!

Absoutely Spectacular

Telstra Tower is Absoutely Spectacular at night! Our class went as a 3 day trip and we just missed sunset but when we got to the top, we were gobsmacked by the view at night! Telstra Tower for Dinner

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here, and it was a faboulous night. The night was a bit cloudy but overall the view is spectacular! The food was great. Being new to Australia from the US we decided to try a platter of mixed grill. My husband had a seafood platter and I had a meat platter. It was interesting trying emu, crocodile and kangaroo, along with bugs and prawns. The servers were very attentive and pleasant. The menu is a bit pricey but for a special occasion you can't beat it!
