The Green Herring provides innovative Australian cuisine in a rustic setting. The restaurant is housed in a 120-year-old slab hut providing an old world charm. The roaring fire during the winter months adds to the intimacy of the venue. Here you will find seafood, steak, veal, chicken and even kangaroo all given an innovative twist, borrowing from Asian and Mediterranean flavours. The entrees are particularly unique, with offerings such as lamb's brains set on roasted parsnips and layered scallops.
