Shooter's Saloon Bar, City of Gold Coast

Went there on New Years Eve at about 3am and a skanky bar staff tried to steal a friends chair who had gone to the toilet after her shift had ended by stating that she worked there and wanted the chair. Despite repeated attempts to tell her it was for my friend, she kept saying that she worked there and wanted the chair. Finally a friend came over and told her to piss off, at which point she did. Then the bouncers refused entry to a guy I was chatting to with dreads saying he was too drunk when he had only had one or two drinks the whole night. Discriminatory!! I was way more drunk than he was, yet he was going to let me back in... Then same bouncer refused entry to me and my friend near closing time when we went out for a smoke, despite us stating her bag and stuff was still in with our friends. Was only when a manager walked by that he allowed my friend to go in and get her stuff and collect our friends, while the bouncer gave us dirty looks. The staff there are the most arrogant arseholes i have ever come across and the place was a total dive anyhow. We will never be going back there again!!

Loved Shooters, went with a a few buddies, it's under new management and boy, have they made some changes. The atmosphere is great, good local crowd and great staff. Enjoy! We did!
