Located opposite the Brisbane Cricket Ground, the Thai Rose is a restaurant, cafe and bar all rolled into one. The restaurant is upstairs with seating inside and intimate tables for two along the balcony. The cafe downstairs caters for those with time constraints, without skimping on quality. A range of traditional Thai dishes adorns the menu and the establishment is fully licensed. The Black Bean and Beef dish (AUD15) is an absolute must.
The quality and variety of food was excellent, but the service was so poor. Our hostess was rude, we were not greeted when we came in to the restaurant. She wouldn't let us sit where we wanted, she took so long to take our order, and we waited for almost 15 for her to bring the bill. I wouldn't go back.
