Sakura Japanese Restaurant, Brisbane

My partner and I are frequent visitors to this restaurant and it is the best Japanese food that I have had outside Japan! It is always full of Japanese families. The service is a little hit-and-miss with regards to efficiency, but they are always friendly and being almost exclusively Japanese very knowledgeable. It is very easy to find (situated near a very busy intersection in Highgate Hill) and while there is very little parking, it is in a mostly residential area so it is easy enough to find free parking nearby as long as you don�t mind walking a few hundred metres. This is my absolute favorite place to eat and I strongly recommend it to anyone looking for unpretentious, fresh, tasty and authentic Japanese food in Brisbane. ps: The sashimi is my favorite.
