The original Tatachilla Winery was built in 1901 but it was reborn in 1995 when a consortium of senior businessmen purchased it and totally changed the way of thinking. Since that time the winery has been named Winery of the Year by Vogue Entertaining and the enthusiastic young wine maker Michael Fragos has twice been named Bushing King of McLaren Vale.
