it was the worse tour in seattle, no worth the money, the driver was extremely rude, can't barely see outside the bus's windows, not stop in any places they promise take you, nor chance to take pictures..i don't recommended it.
Minimal option to get off and look around but worked well with getting a hop on/hop off bus tour for the day before and after this trip. Tavre (the driver) is a bit arogant and short/almost rude, but does have alot to tell the visitors.
This tour was absolutely fabulous and fascinating for anyone interested in knowing more about the actual history of Seattle or interested in architecture, engineering, gardening, and/or the arts. This is not the kind of tour for people who want to get on and off to shop. Our driver Jim was so knowledgeable and engaging that we felt like we really knew so much more about Seattle. My daughter and I shared the bus with a retired couple from San Diego and a family from London--during the 3 1/2 hours, we all talked back and forth with the driver and each other--it was all so much more an intimate experience than we would have had on a large tour bus group. One week later I am still talking about it to others in Atlanta and one friend has already signed up for a tour in July. Ballard Locks was an incredible experience--we saw baby salmon (fries) going through the locks headed out to sea. My daughter, an engineer, and I loved watching how the locks actually worked. Jim also took us to great views of the city from residential areas that gave us some awesome photos. Hint: the building used for "Seattle Grace Hospital" on Gray's Anatomy is across from the Space Needle--good photo! We later followed up on his advice for restaurants and other tourist opportunities--he was always right!!
I really enjoyed this tour. The van was roomy and comfortable, and the driver was very knowledgeable and entertaining! We saw all of the highlights of the city and the surrounding areas. No worries about driving, parking, maps, etc. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn their way around. Only thing that would have made it better would be stopping at Pike’s Market Place and/or the Space Needle and not just driving by them.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who has never been to Seattle before. You get to see many of the familiar landmarks in the city. The tour guides also give an overview on the basic geography and background information on Seattle. The driver I had was a real friendly guy and easy to get along with.
Tour bus was late. We waited for an hour only for the operator to nonchalantly tell us the bus passed by already and we won't be able to go on the tour after all. He BRUSHED US OFF after we waited patiently. Wasted an entire afternoon doing nothing.
