Children's Museum of Tacoma

my kid was tired of it after about an hour.. there was a few fun things, but all in all, nothing to write home about. Had a kind of odd Native American story as the theme for it. And there wasn't anything there to really make you go "wow, this place is great!" ... if you have nothing better to do then check it out, otherwise don't waste your time.

I took my 3 yr old here for the first time on a rainy day. She has hundreds of toys at home, but I love to take her to different places and explore. She had a great time running around, playing with new things, meeting new friends and exploring. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My daughter especially enjoyed the art room. She played for about an hour with their homemade playdo (she has playdo at home too!). I am hoping to plan her birthday here so she can enjoy it with her friends.!

IT WAS VERY SMALL AND NOT A LOT TO DO. THE BOOKS WERE HORRIBLE. THE ONLY FUN THING ABOUT THE WHOLE PLACE WAS WHEN MY DAUGHTER PAINTED A PICTURE. IT WAS LIKE PAYING $18.00 TO USE THE SAME TOYS I HAVE, DO THE SAME ACTIVITIES I ALREADY DO, AND TO LIFE THE LIFESTYLE I ALREADY LIVE. NOT THAT COOL. THUMBS DOWN. SORRY

Great, safe place for kids to run around and discover. I would recommend this for kids 2-10. My fifteen month old liked it but most activities are geared toward older children.
