Established in 1990, this small family-owned micro-brew business produces a number of local favorites including Flagship Red Ale, Clipper Gold Hefeweizen and Islander Pale Ale. Try these beers and others in Maritime Pacific Brewing Company, known as the Jolly Roger Taproom, which also serves a light menu. Call ahead to arrange a tour of the brewing operation. Tours are informal and offer a good look into the inner workings of a micro-brew operation. A small gift shop sells souvenir shirts, hats and trinkets. You can also order kegs to go.

Sun, Seattle & GREAT BEER!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/08/08
I first tasted the "Night Watch" ale in 1995 or 96. Unbelievably good! My only complaint is that no taverns carry it up north in Everett WA that I have found. They sell Kegs!! Get yours to go and take this delicious beer home.Plan ahead though, They are not always available. The Tavern itself is small but cozy and there is a beer garden. Try it there or take it home with you. CHEERS!!

Best beer in Seatle. Period.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/13/07
It's small, tacky, with servers that know the brews and are beer lovers themselves... everything you want in a microbrew pub! Try the Imperial Pale Ale, it is excellent.
