Pike Place Market, Seattle

I could spend all day wondering through all the shops and tables

I had just been to the Pike Place Market a couple days ago. It was pretty fun. At first I thought it was kinda similiar to San Francisco's Fisherman Wharf, but is actually very different. Although Pike Place Market is not that big, but lots of stuff to look at. Great clam chowder and seafood, lots of fresh fruits and produce. They can even pack fish that good to go for 48 hours. There are a few nice bakery around that place. There is also a tea and spice store inside the market, giant collection of tea!!!!!! Con: parking is not that easy to find on street or around the market. Most need to pay, there are some more parking structure if you walk a block or so, prices vary.

The first time I visited the market I was scared to death. I had one idea what to expect. I've heard all kinds of stories about the lower levels of the market. I just pushed them aside and went for it. I love to walk through the maze of shops and people, just to watch them. It's like the market is alive. then there are moments you just stop and watch a guitarist or fiddler playing for money. After a day of walking and shopping through the market, I head over to Seattle's Best - my favorite coffee shop. It's never boring. It's a mix of some many things. I visit every time I visit Seattle.

Apart from it being really crowded and fishy smelling, I do love going to the market. The parking in the area is not bad. The location is great because you can visit several other attractions within walking distance; however, this is not really a place for young children. My 6 year old hates it!

I liked everything about it, It was pretty awesome! There were a lot of neat things to look at and there were a lot of cute shops :D

This place is just nice and so alive. Even of you don't need groceries, still a great place have a good time. The shopping here is a different experience.

there are so many little vendors, and the people are so nice. they actually throw fish down there to!! its kinda packed though. the wlakways are small!!

i used to live here a couple years ago. just me n my brother we tried to adjust ourselves with this new environment. Scared at first but finally amazed by the beauty and the friendly neighbourhood of Seattle. the food and the weather is something that i will never get at my home country. I'll never forget the experience i had. one of the place i recommend is pike place market cause you can buy almost anything there. a piece of my heart is left at Seattle for sure.

I lived in Issaquah WA it is a few miles east of Seattle ,my job took me to Calif. There is so much to do in and around Seattle. You do not have to spend money to have a great time . I could go on all day about Seattle and the area around it but you need to go see for yourself .Have fun

A photographers dream, happy cooperative vendors, free food samples, great atmosphere. Costs you nothing, but you will spend money because there is so much to see and buy! Remember there is more than the ground floor.
