Bellevue Municipal Golf Course, Bellevue

As an SAS captain I enjoyed my stays in Bellevue thanks to nice and polite treatment at this golf course. The guy in the proshop did everything to help me to a round together with nice local people. Since I would fly in from Europe the day before, it wasn`t possible to book tee time in advance. But when I showed up, the manager said; no problem Nord. I`ll get you out. Now I have been retired for 4 years, and I`m really missing my flights to Seattle and a round of golf with you guys. Hope to be back on vacation soon, and my first golfcourse to play will be yours.

This is a great course to walk and if you have children with you. its a 113 slope rating pretty easy course very little to get in trouble with. the olny bad thing is every time i play thier the 8th hole is always backed up and slow play otherwise that good course maintained well and plays good.

This is a fun course if you are heading out with kids or a group of junior players. The big issue is the pace of play. During the summer it is REALLY REALLY slow and will drive you crazy if you are a regular golfer. Go on a nice day during the winter and you get a nice course, good pace, and a pretty good price.

Like the muni's in Seattle, BV is mis-managed by a company that only has experience in operating driving ranges. Therefore they are best at catering to the 'recreational' players like the ones they see at their ranges. 6 hour round? No problem -- they can sell you more beer. I've literally had a grounds keeper crawl into a bunker and start working while I was in there hitting my shot! And the volunteer marshal program is a fiasco. I've seen these f-tards park their carts on green aprons, next to fairways where people are trying to land their drives, even getting out of their carts to pick fights with patrons. Course conditioning is a joke; all premier golf managed courses are turning into goat pastures. Avoid like the plague!!!

I've never been treated this way at a golf course anywhere... ever! I must be a horrible golfer, because that's the way the marshall was treating my group, and seemed to be watching us the entire round. I shot a 91. For me that's pretty good. I'll never go back there again. RUDE PEOPLE!!!

I have played this course for years and it is maintained very well. It is more challenging than it appears and a lot of fun when it plays at a good pace. It has a tendency to play slow when it gets crowded.The reason for this is, it attracts golfers of various skills and golf etiquette.

While playing 18 holes last week, we were harassed by the Marshall. He came up to us in his cart, said we were too slow and needed to skip a hole. We were not too slow. There were four of us playing, and everyone was keeping up. The Marshall then went to get his Pro and the two came back again. They said if we didn't skip the next hole they would call the Bellevue Police Dept. and have us removed from the property. We were shocked. They split our foursome up only to have all four of catch up to one another and have to wait at the next whole for the group in front of us. I would think that the City of Bellevue would not want to develop a reputation at harassing thier customers. When one of our group went in to say that our game had been disrupted and asked for a refund for at least the back nine he was told the Marshall was just doing his job. The complaintent then went on to say that it wasn't very good customer service, he was told that they didn't want customers like us. We have been playing at this course for years, and at many others, and have never been treated with such disrespect.
