Ride the Ducks of Seattle

Description

Tour Seattle on a refurbished World War II amphibious landing craft. The 90-minute tour includes such attractions as the Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square . Then this strange vehicle plunges into Lake Union. The tour cruises past many houseboats and other lake sights. Tickets can be purchased between the base of the Space Needle and the Monorail Terminal at Seattle Center . Tours leave every hour during the summer, less frequently in the off season.

It was so much fun!
By Glenda, 8/14/10
My granddaughter and I visited Seattle putting this first on our list of activities. It was so much fun! My granddaughter laughed so hard she was crying ... Our captain was a hoot!! In addition to her vast knowledge as a tour guide she had her music, props and gestures choreographed for everyone (including those outside of the Duck) to enjoy. While the tour alone would have been nice, she made it outstanding ... 90 minutes for $25/$15 of entertainment and all of the memories ... I can't wait to do it again!!

We loved the duck ride!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/30/10
We have lived in Seattle a long time and were looking for something we hadn't done to show some out of town company the sites of Seattle. It was so much fun riding around singing with our "Captain Salty Dawg." He pointed out some things we we not aware of, then we got to go into the water and see where Sleepless in Seattle was filmed. It was a beautiful view of the city from the water. I would recommend it to anyone new to Seattle, or even if you are not new, it was a fun day. We are planning on going again when we have more visitors. A little pricey but well worth it!

Fun-tastic
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/20/09
Just got home from a 6700 mile road trip....saw a ridiculous amount of America, and the Seattle Ride the Ducks was the family highlight. Captain Funtastic earns every cent of his tour pay (and should get a raise because I know he personally brings in tourists). My family brings up something about the tour daily, and we would do it again in a second.

So Much Fun!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/30/08
My husband was skeptical about spending the money, but it really is the best way to see the city and then figure out where you want to go and spend more time. Our Captain Greg was excellent and very funny. The 90 minutes flew by! My husband thanked me for pushing him to do it!! I'd so recommend it and will look into doing it again in other cities!

SO MUCH FUN!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/21/07
Our office decided to ride the ducks in lieu of having a summer bbq this year. Honestly, we all had an absolute blast. Totally worth the price. Just remember to leave the Seattle attitude behind and have a little fun for once!

Highlight of our trip!!
By Laura C, 8/12/07
This was the coolest tour we've ever taken. What better way to see the sights of Seattle than with a very funny, personable tour guide that plays great music throughout the trip. I would recommend this tour to EVERYONE! Lots of fun!
