The Remlinger Farms is the perfect place to take kids who are or may become farm aficionados. The 270-acre farm grows everything from berries to exotic vegetables - depending on the season, of course. Admission is free, but you are liable to part with some cash in the garden of earthly delights, otherwise known as the General Store. During the summer, there are puppet shows, steam train rides, pony rides and a petting zoo. The Fall Harvest Festival takes place in October. The farm also sells Christmas trees on weekends from Thanksgiving through Christmas.
