Pike Place Market
Description
One of Seattle's most famous landmarks, Pike Place Market is the oldest continuously working public market in the country. Shop for fresh vegetables and fruits here or stop by Pike Place Fish to see fish fly. The market has numerous shops, including a health food and herb store, craft stores and flower stands. Stop by Sur la Table, where you'll find tools with which you can prepare your recently purchased ingredients. Don't forget to pick up fresh-baked pastries for dessert and stop at one of the restaurants for lunch or grab an authentic Seattle latte before heading home.
This place is amazing! If I would have known better I would have taken an empty suitcase just to bring this back! Cool things I've never seen from many different cultures. The Alaskan King Crab is the cheapest you can get here. $20 for 1 pound; Any restaurant in the area will charge you $40 and up. They even cook it for you. Next time I go, I'll be ready to bring things back home like cool chilis you can hang from your ceiling and use them as they dry.
Such a wonderful atmosphere. The flowers are amazing and so cheap. If we lived in the area, there would be no excuse for fresh flowers around the house all the time. :) People very nice! Great food and many dining options. Love Beechers and the Chili place! Little donuts near the famous fish market are delicious as well. Nice park at end of market to relax at and look out at the sound. I look forward to visiting Seattle again and especially the market for some wonderful fresh fruit, flowers, crafts, as well as meeting many kind people.

Full of culture, if culture involves flying fish and spitting cherry seeds on the ground as you window shop. There is always a little for every walk of life at Pike Place. Take the time to waunder through the shops on the main street and below, you'll be glad that you did, but don't expect high times and ambiance or the overwealming smell of dried and fresh flowers, mixed with fish and crab might take you by suprise.
