In a town packed with bookstores, this one thrives by providing a large selection of books on many subjects, including a good collection of mysteries, biographies, history, the latest in fiction and general non-fiction and plenty of paperbacks, plus an excellent selection of gay and lesbian titles. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. The staff is knowledgeable. The store offers an incentive to regular buyers, a free 11th book equal in value to the average value of the first 10.
Plenty of exciting possibilities line an interesting layout of corners, nooks, islands, and space. This is a great place to relax with the pleasant tummy tingler of anticipation. Budget yourself some book buying power and include a pocketful of coffee change. Smell the fresh print, take away a handful of text, go get cozy in a local coffee shop (they abound up on Capital Hill) and paradise lays before you. It's a good place to go if you can't afford Hawaii.
I absolutely love Bailey/Coy. Large book stores make me sick, this is just the thing the docotor ordered. It has the books you need, but it doesnt made you feel like you are buying into some big corporation. Dont go anywhere else!!
