Delicately made shoes, often detailed with fine straps, buttons and buckles, are the raison d'être of this shoe shop. The men's selection is almost as wide as the women's, but this is really a shop for people who appreciate elegant, understated, even feminine, footwear. Most of the shoes are imported from Italy, tested and purchased by Maggie herself on her frequent trips there. Given that, the shoes often cost less than expected.
I agree with the review below. I had really liked a pair of shoes and when I inquired about the quality and make of the shoe the manager kept repeating how they have been around for 25 years which meant that they must have good shoes. Being around for 25 years doesn't mean anything! She had quite the obnoxious attitude. It just means that they can make a good profit especially since they don't have a very good return policy. Once you buy a $100- $300 pair, you are pretty much stuck with it if something goes wrong. She didn't even know how long the the shoes last only that they are supposed to be good shoes. A mere statement that they are good do not mean anything if you can't explain why. She seemed offended by the questions about the shoes we were asking and eventually even told us we might as well go buy shoes at Nordstrom. The questions we were asking natural questions any buyer would ask when looking for a good quality shoe. I was really turned off by her attitude. Too bad since the shoes were very nice.
The staff were completely obnoxious!!! You can't even get in touch with "Maggie" or a manager in order to discuss a complaint. I was shocked at how pushy the sales staff were and they wouldn't even listen to customers...at all!!! They didn't care whether you liked a pair of shoes or not, they just DEMANDED that you buy them. I would even question whether the shoes were really from Italy. The entire place seems to be a scam.
