Description

No signs lead to this romantic hideaway near Pike Place Market , but when you see the pink door itself, you'll know you've arrived. On a sunny day you can sit outside on the rooftop deck, where shorts, sunglasses and lively chatter run rampant and everyone seems rejuvenated by the awesome backdrop of Elliot Bay. The rustic Italian cuisine includes a variety of delicious pastas and specials. The Cioppino and the spinach stuffed pork loin are especially good. The restaurant features cabaret and other live entertainment. Please call ahead for hours.

Perfect first dinner in Seattle!

We showed up late, without reservations (after deciding we weren't really french food kind of people we came across it by chance) and were able to get 2 seats at the bar, just in time for an awesome jazz trio. The mixed drinks were amazing and the lasagna is wonderful! We were lucky to find somewhere to sit, I definitely recommend reservations as the place is usually packed.

Nearly 20 years ago, I flew from Fairbanks to Seattle on business, and stayed at the Four Seasons. I asked the concierge where I could find a great restaurant featuring Italian food. He recommended The Pink Door. My first meal there was perfect! I now live in Washington, and go back virtually every time I am in town. The food, the service, the atmosphere--it can't be beat!

wonderful putanesca.... fantastic view. great entertainment, and servers to drool over. vinal table cloths good for eating messy big plates of pasta in the summer. yum.

Great Atmosphere and Good Food

The atmosphere is FABULOUS. Kudos to the designer. Super friendly wait staff. And yes, the food is really good. Tiramisu is just luscious.

Sunday night we visited here for dinner, seating was quick wait staff were friendly, food was great, i recomend there cappaccino, I really liked this place! It was perfect for a first date, very romantic
