Almost always crowded with businesspeople during lunchtime on weekdays, The Brooklyn has warm modern decor with a huge bar as the center of attention. The menu features steaks and seafood, including dishes like wild Pacific red king salmon and Louisiana pan-fried oysters. The steaks, all aged Angus Beef, will melt in your mouth. For something lighter which screams "Seattle," step up to the oyster bar and try any of 13 varieties of oysters, primarily from Washington and the Pacific Northwest.

Great Service, Great Food, Great Place
By BlakeM, 06/21/08
After hitting a few spots in Seattle that were recommended by friends, we asked a server at one of those restaurants where she would go to eat. She said The Brooklyn, and I'm really glad she did. The place accommodated our party of 2 as walk-ins at 6 PM. The server, Dave, was really helpful in suggesting the restaurant's best dishes and making sure we felt very welcomed at the restaurant. I started with the Roasted Beet and Proscuitto Salad and then had the Filet Roquefort (meat was cooked perfectly and was very tender) and finished with the Strawberry Sorbet. Everything was delicious. This is definitely a great place to grab a very nice dinner. I would make it a point to eat here the next time I visit Seattle.

The tuna tower is a delectable mix of raw ahi tuna, pine nuts, and wasabi for a seafood flavor and texture that is like heaven. eight bucks last i checked, and worth every penny. i am drooling right now just thinking about it, but maybe i am just hungry.
