Description

Complete with wood paneling, mounted antlers and two fireplaces, this restaurant resembles an old British hunting lodge. Breakfast is served all day long and so are large burgers and other pub food. There is not only a full bar here but also a wide range of specialty beers available at reasonable prices. Gaming entertainment includes pool, shuffleboard and pinball. A separate smoking area is also provided.

Good enough place, if you don't mind rare chicken wings. Also, the bar is set up in a very unhelpful way, with the service station in the most exactly wrong place. Stick with drinks, beer, fries, and breakfast in the morning. Also, the bar staff is obviously coked out of their gourds.

Love the beer, love the pool...

Great beer to be had at affordable prices and free pool tables up until 5:00PM every day! The food's pretty good too and the table at the far back of the bar is the best in the house. Also, try going in the summer on a sunny day--they open half the bar into in outdoor patio. One of my favorite haunts...

pinball and onion rings

I'd give this pub more stars, but I don't want to see it get too crowded. The Canterbury boasts friendly servers (ORDER AT THE BAR signs, notwithstanding) and great prices. As of Sept. 2004, they have two pinball machines: Martian Attack and some theme park game. They're both solid games.
