Located about 75 miles north of the Seattle, Skagit Valley Casino Resort offers your pick of baccarat, craps, poker, blackjack and roulette, as well as electronic games and a keno lounge. If gambling works up a hunger or thirst, there are three restaurants to choose from—Moon Beach, a fine dining restaurant serving seafood and steak; Market Buffet and Grill, offering international cuisine; and Northern Lights Deli, offering huge sandwiches, salads and soups. Also check out the casino's new 103-room hotel with conference rooms and a 450-seat showroom. The place opens daily from 9a.

Things have changed

I used to love coming to this hotel but things have changed. #1 The hot tub was scalding hot! #2 The pillows are getting reallllly flat. #3 They changed the breakfast!!! NO more continental serve yourself breakfast!! It was terrible. Preboxed..no choice...packaged muffins that are synthetic...apple sauce...oh my...even my 10 year old wouldn't eat it! #4 The buffet has gone down hill. I actually saw them pour water into the dishes because they were getting so dried out! Disgusting!!!
