Atlanta Beach International Park, Jonesboro

My dislike, smelly,smelly,smelly in the bathrooms (ladies in particularly) in the hall were you pay to enter the beach area need some deodorizers.. Need some cosmetic up-lifting around the yards. (Example) flowers, scrubs, plants and signs on the main road to direct you from the interstate and once you exit. Add more water activities much as; water slides for the kids and adult. My likes, inexpensive very family oriented and local.

I had been to this park on many occassions and have enjoyed myself. This particular visit was a bab one for me and many more. I was the victim of 5+ car invasions. There are no cameras outside of the buildings so the parking lot is open to all criminals. Before the police could finish one report there was someone to inform him that there was another invasion. They were popping the lock and going through the back seats to get purses out of the trunk and what Eva valuables they hands on. There are signs that say that the park is under surveillance but it is one for the protection of the money that they take in.

We visited Atlanta Beach , there was a smell of urine in the kiddie area also the beach water was very dark and nasty looking . I brought my entire family from Loganville , Ga , this place has potenial to be a good family spot but clayton county needs to do better in keeping this place clean

The first time i went was like 2 years ago and the water was beautiful its just that they need to clean up in the ladies restroom because there was mudd everywhere sand and when you go inside the stalls theres barely any room to stand and i think they should clean up the beach a little because there alot of litter alot of leaves and the water is very dirty .

i loved Everything about this place, EXCEPT the water WHICH is suppose to be the MAIN attraction,...it Looked like a VERY DIRTY Creek or something, i Stayed in the kids pool, where the clean see through water was...Hint: GET Cleaner Water IF you want Repeat Customer's, FREE Positive word of mouth Advertising, and 5 stars reviews.

As this was my second visit (long timespan from the first visit) to Atlanta Beach it was a great visit. The weather was awesome, the grounds were clean and well manicured, the band was top level, the beach/waterpark was clean and inviting as well. The staff was hospitable. However, there was a slight less than acceptable maintenance of your public baths. The baths were not prepped for the day - just a regular day, especially for a holiday. There were limited grip, the water was on, there were dead bugs all over the ladies room. The grounds staff were visible before 12noon, but after that they were ghosts. With any crowd, especially a holiday crowd, there needs to be more spot checking of ground facilities than I witnessed. You are not just entertaining locals but out of towners also. Please see that this is a priority because it could turn out to be a disaster. Surely, not a memory you would want for any of your patrons.

I visited this beach some years ago and the water was clean and aqua-blue. Now after going there twice over a four year period the water has been very, very dark murky green. What happen? My daughter made a statement it's like a giant bath-tub that has'nt been clean in years, and after standing up looking out at the water she was right!
