Sticking to hotel restaraunt next time!
By John, 11/27/11
Good atmosphere and prompt attentive service - but probably the worst Lasagne I've ever tasted - maybe it was an off night - but very greasy and deceptively named 'side salad' with which it was served, was nothing more that a few bits of lettuce - no tomato or other salad veg - had to order chips as side order to make it a reasonable meal as hadn't eaten all day - will just eat in hotel on the next visit! Noteworthy that their pathetic excuse for a salad has been commented on by other reviwers, JD

Don't do it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/11/10
We waited for more than an hour to be served when the restaurant had more staff than customers. The cajun tuna could have been recooked boot smeared in some hideus concoction but it really wasn't possible to tell what it was. I wasn't sure it hadn't been cooked previously and reheated several times. Honestly you could have used the chunk of concrete they called tuna as a house brick. As for the flavour well it was hard not to think they were using all that spice to hide something thast might be past its best. Give this one a big miss.

highlight of my trip to cardiff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/27/08
I always look forward to going into henrys for a nice quiet drink and food; and my husband and i have always thought very highly of the quality of the food and drink. you may pay a little more but i believe you get what you pay for. the staff are worth their weight in gold and nothing is to much trouble.you do not feel rushed in any way a totaly relaxing experience. we always recommend henrys to our family and friends.well done to all you have it just right.

Romantic Date
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/11/08
An excellent venue for a romantic date. The service was perfect - leaving us very much on our own, only occasionally checking in a most unobtrusive way to make sure that we had everything we need. The service was appreciated and the meal/drinks were ok (only criticism - white wine was too warm). It may have been expensive, didn’t really notice, but it was worth every penny because of the service.

Good night out
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/22/07
Good food, good atmosphere. the staff were all friendly and efficient. Shame that the bar tarrif was a joke. £3.30 for a pint of Strongbow is taking the mikey.

NEVER AGAIN
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/18/07
I HAVE JUST BEEN THERE FOR LUNCH (18/05/2007) AND IT WAS THE BIGGEST RIP OFF I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. I HAD A PIRI PIRI CHICKEN WRAP THAT WAS HALF FULL, A MANKY SCRAP OF SALAD AND THAT COST ME £5.25! I COULD HAVE BOUGHT THE SAME IN SAINSBURYS FOR ABOUT £2.00. NOBODY ELSE'S MEALS LOOKED ANY BETTER THAN MINE, THE CHEESY GARLIC BREAD LOOKED AS IF IT HAD BEEN WELDED TO THE PLATE AND THE POTATO WEDGES WERE SERVED UP IN ONE BIG LUMP. MONEY FOR OLD ROPE, NEVER AGAIN.
