Discovery Gateway, Salt Lake City

I was so disappointed to find that the museum moved from its original location in the old building just down from the Capital Bldg. My children loved going there and it was affordable for most families. Now it is commercialized and priced outrageously too high. I say move it back!

I have been there 2 times and the first time was pretty fun I must admit, but the second was a disaster. I was so completely un impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the entire facility. We payed extra to go to the Sesame Street exhibit and it was a waste of time and money. The kids were bored and it was a filthy mess. It closed and hour earlier tha the hours posted and the price is ludicris. My brother and family was here visiting from AZ and payed over 60 dollars to spend and hour and a half there. I went and spoke with the manager and his excuse was that they are short staffed. So he gave us free passes for our families to go back. I doubt we will use them.
