Alpine Slide, Park City

My wife rode the ride and the "slide" came off of the track about 2/3 the way down. She was going slower than i was. She skinned her shoulder, arm and hand pretty bad burning off the skin. When we went to the first aid station there were 3 others in there wrapping their burns and scrapes. 2 were children and one other adult. When we alerted the staff they were very rude about it and said "oh yea, you just have to be careful, it can come off the track". If this was Disney World or Six Flags they would close the ride down immediately and have HUGE signs up everywhere. They acted like it was very common and no big deal. Tim S screamed at the people in the first aid station because they attempted to bandage themselves up without his permission. I would never go back just because of their attitudes.

This is pretty fun, we stayed in Park City and this was one of the funnest things to do. The ride up was long.

This has got to be the greatest ride yet. It beats every rollercoaster I have ever been on. Make sure you are not afraid of a little speed and sharp turns. A bit pricy for the lift/ride combo but it is worth it, You'll see.

As a local I think the Alpine Slide is kind of a rip off. Granted, its fun, but I don't really think it's worth the money. If you are vacationing in Utah, there are so many other amazing sights to see and things to do that I would'nt reccomend wasting your time or money on the Alpine Slide.

It was so nice and pretty there.People were so polite and patient.I can' wait to go back!!The leaves were all red and orange, Icouldn't beleive it.It was so great!!Ican't beleive Ithougt it was scary!

We live in Bountiful, UT and try to do the Alpine slide once a year. It is overly expensive, they do need to look into some type of day pass instead of charging you per run, the original slides are the best, they added two new ones but they seem to be a bit on the slower side, not as fun as the older two. We just like to get away into the cooler temperature once in a while and it is so pretty up there. It is a great experience, but about $12 for one ride, you can go to Snowbird and get an all day pass for their slide for that much but that slide is much smaller and not as much fun.

This slide was a lot of fun. The only comparable slide I've found was governed and kept you from going fast. This one can throw you off the course if you're not careful. That's why it's so much fun though. If you like to go fast, wait as long as they will let you. That way you won't be braking the whole time. The scenery is awesome.

The atmosphere is beautiful - mountains, shops, views, etc. The slide is ok if you do not get behind a child or a senior citizen going senior citizen speed. But be careful, with no one in front of you, you can go bombing over the edge and the landing gives no mercy. Along the sides of the slide is mountain terrain - rocks, weeds, some dead weeds (not so much weeds, rather flowers, but when you get all scratched up, you don't care what plant life is next to the slide). Don't get me wrong, the slide is a wonderful experience, it averages three to five minutes long and is surrounded with beautiful scenary.
