Paradoxical wine paradise

This store is just another exampe of the paradoxical reputation of Salt Lake and the excellent food, wine and microbrewed beer that's readily available. As another reviewer mentioned, you can't buy wine in a grocery store. OK this is an inconvenience but it also makes shopping for wine more of an "occassion" or at least elevates it above, "let's see: toilet paper: check, milk: check, cheap bottle of wine: check." So it doesn't carry every label that's available in some markets. If you don't see the wine you typically buy at the corner 7-11 in Stockton, try one of the other 2,500 labels that it does carry.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and can make recommendations for every taste including what goes well with New Zealand lamb, tomatoe and mayonaise sandwiches or beans on toast.
