Pleasant surprise..
I had an afternoon to while away last time I was in Salt Lake. I'd been through Sugar House many times..and had observed the park that's there but never gone into it. From the street, it looks like a small, grassy park with a few patrons milling about. I decided to spend some time exploring..after all, I needed some exercise. :) So I drove in and parked. I ended up walking the perimeter. I was surprised at how big the park was.. but what was an even bigger surprise was how nice it was... friendly people.. the park was clean, well kept.. and had plenty of nooks and places for privacy if a person wanted it. I spent the whole afternoon and early evening there.. got a good portion of my book read.. and ended up nicely relaxed and glad I'd found a little haven that, next time in SLC, I'll be sure to visit again.
