Hogle Zoo, Emigration Canyon

Hogle Zoo is a disapointment. The animals were lifeless. They all seemed so sad. They need to be in more of a natural habitat rather than in a cement cage. Being the only zoo in the area, they get plenty of business. Can't they use some of the money to improve the habitats of the animals. Of course we will go again because we don't have any other options in Utah. We would be willing to pay an extra dollar for admission if I knew that the extra money would go to improving the lifestyle of the animals.

The zoo is remodeling the elephant exhibit and the new one looks awesome! It's supposed to open this spring. Can't wait. The cat cages are too small, but they are going to rebuild them too. The rest of the zoo is neat. I really liked the gorillas and the meerkats

I remember going to Hogle Zoo and they let you ride the elephants.That was what made this zoo memorable. They don't now, and it made the zoo not as exciting as it used to be.

Cages are small, animals are lifeless. Watching a siberian tiger walk back and forth in a plain concrete cage that's only one and a half times the length of the tiger itself is extremelly disheartening.
