The chef here is famous for blending complicated tastes from the freshest ingredients, and the resulting entrees are a real treat. One recommended dish is the lobster risotto, done in a tarragon-veal reduction. The seared chicken breast in sun-dried apricot sauce is another favorite. All the entrees here are interesting and delicious. Or, for a real dining treat, try the multi-course "tasting menu," which changes daily and is replete with exotic delicacies. Wine is available from USD30 a bottle, to well over USD100. Mixed cocktails are also available.
Whilst the food here was outstanding the thing that really made our night special was the quality of service.
Timing was just right, delivery was well paced, the waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine list; his wine pairings for the food we enjoyed. The waiter was particularly good at making us feel that he had as much time as we wanted with him and apparently did the same with others as I saw him similarly engaged with other customers
I would certainly recommend that you try this place, particularly if you have a special occasion coming up as the staff are able to create a nice ambience. It may be a tad on the pricy side for everyday dining, but we should all push the boat out once in a while.
I took a small group from work and enjoyed the eclectic menu. Very good food and service. Unfortunately, SLC restaurants charge a premium for wine.. not sure why, but its another 30% higher than the best restaurants on either coast.
I plan to take my wife there for a romantic dinner.
